This is a famous tune by Earth, Winddd.... No, it's by Blood, Sweat, And Tears.
I'm just being silly, I don't really confuse the two.
This band likes Blood, Sweat, And Tears. I think we have three of their tunes in our repertoire.
I wish we had a Eath, Wind, And Fire song or four.

This band likes it like the recording and has a chart with detailed writen bass part. It's more like the original recording. I find that replicating the techniques and sounds of the original recording serves me. I've spend plenty of infinity making up a new part to chord changes every chance I got. Always different. Always, like a Jazzer,
What's funny is, I'm suddenly being asked to play this song in a different band. The big band you see me with suddenly has a singer that wants to do it. What's interesting and healthy is, I will be using the 5 string bass instead of redular raceca... bass, AND the arrangements for this big band is different.

I'll try to get two videos up for a healthy comparison, but it might take a while to get it all together.
