INTRODUCING: STEEMIT ASHANTI

It is in view of this, that the Steemit Ashanti group deems it fit to have a common platform to facilitate teamwork and synergism.

The Steemit Ashanti team is a decentralized group of the Steemit Ghana Society. The group derives its name from the Ashanti Region, one of the ten(10) regions of Ghana. Located centrally in the middle belt of the country, the Ashanti Region connects the northern and southern parts of Ghana.
The members of the Ashanti team are those living in the territories of the Ashanti Region. We are currently over 40 active members, and we hope to have more.

This post is to officially introduce the @steemitashanti account to the steemit community.

The purpose of this commom group account is to:

• support and help members grow.
  The steemit community gets new members everyday. So does the Ashanti group. As a decentralized team, it is still in the budding stage; newbies making up a large number of it. This common account will serve as a platform where experienced members will tutor newbies on the operations of steemit. Frequently asked questions (faqs) will also be addressed here.
  The account will be used also to upvote, resteem and comment on the blogs of members of Steemit Ashanti. This is all in a collaborative effort to support and help members grow.

• to update the Steemit community on activities of the group.
  The group has embarked on steemit-promotion activities, charity events and meetups, and plans to continue doing more. This account will be used as a channel to inform the Steemit community on the activities of the group.

The group though in the developing stage, is fortunate to have some experienced members under whose lead it thrives. None of these initiatives would have been possible without our team leaders : @anaman , @collinz , @mcsamm , @odsam2 and @jeeandmee.

This account is counting on the continued support of everyone, especially the steemit community as a whole.
