@_mdsquare - how does it work?
Two doctors from South Korea have developed a new telemedicine application that uses blockchain technology to securely connect patients and doctors regardless of their current location. The MDsquare application was founded in 2016. The creators of the application set a goal to improve the quality and availability of health services around the world, using blockchain technology. The global application seeks to connect patients to health professionals anywhere in the world. If necessary, you can use integrated translation services. The application will be available in English, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese and Indonesian languages.
The application helps those people, who travel abroad, and also allows patients to meet with experts in the field of rare diseases. The project can also help in resolving extremely high medical costs in some countries. When consultations with doctors are limited to the hospital, it is uncomfortable for patients. And doctors in such a case eventually feel stuck in one place. With MDsquare, doctors and patients can communicate with each other, setting their own conditions.
Based on the Blockchain Ethereum platform, MDsquare uses smart contracts that allow patients to make one payment that is automatically shared and paid to all involved persons and accompanying personnel: a doctor, an interpreter, when necessary, а pharmacist. Besides being built on a blockchain, the application allows you to safely share encrypted medical files and even gives the patient the opportunity to additionally submit anonymous medical data directly to medical research companies.
To protect patients and doctors from fluctuations in the volatile crypto-currency market, all payments for MDsquare services will be made using MD Points (MDP), a token that will be sold at a fixed rate from the MDsquare website or in the application. MDP tokens will be put up for sale at the end of July and later will be available on cryptocurrency exchanges.
