Object № 300 - Trireme Hull!

I tried to make a big deal about my 300th Shapeways model, but got mired in video and, especially, audio problems. However, resourceful little scoundrel that I am, I found a way around those road-blocks, as I do with everything. But if you poke around enough, you can probably find them without too much trouble (I'm terrible at making shameless plugs). Here are some pictures of my initial efforts. I figured I ought to share what I recorded now before I go ahead and make any modifications to it:

Eye's looking at you!

I know, it's not much, but it's just the hull, after all. When the masts and oars are installed, it will begin to look like something. Put some hoplites on top, and it will really look impressive!
