This hot spell is wonderful.

We've unusually had some great weather here in the UK. We're lucky to be by the coast as we get the pleasure of a lovely sea breeze to keep things comfortable. The dog is especially pleased we're not seeing the temperatures experieneced in the south east.

It was beautiful down the beach this morning.

We've now not seen any rain for the best part of two months so the grass is looking for a little worse for wear. It's amazing how some plants aren't affected.

The life boat sheds were nice and quiet as they hadn't started serving teas, coffee and cake. The shed on the right houses a museum and the one on the left both lifeboars (main and inshore).

Scary to think they need to raise £250,000 a year to keep the place operational. It has been I dependant since 1969 so they've been doing an amazing job.
