Projection Mapping Surface Testing
For those of you who keep up with me, you know that I'm a projection mapping artist. I create all of my own content (a lot of which that I have recently been animating and rendering from the ground up in Cinema 4D and after effects.) Lately I've been batching a ton of new video content for my performances and call gigs, so I've been putting together short test videos to share what I've been working on with all of you here.
The surface map is 6 feet tall and about 8 feet wide and the panels were made with ply wood and glossy white paint to give off a reflective surface. The song here is one of my favorites from the album "Yak the Magic Dragon", Reflection of Sunbeams on Wet Skin.
With these video files and setup, after I'm finished doing a test map, I'll throw them into my mapping software, add video effects, stylize it, and then alter the videos to blend smoothly between files.
I hope you enjoy this video! If you like the video and/or the music along with it, feel free to check out my other work on here or on my youtube channel!
