Let's Power Up!

A little bee told us that it's HIVE Power Up Month! Well @hivebuzz we decided to get started a little early and we've been in the process of buying and powering up a million HP this week. We're going to lock in 50,000 more HP today because our single comma is getting lonely!

Traditionally most of our efforts and attention has been on the Splinterlands ecosystem, as Splinterlands governance is our core purpose. That said, we've recognized the importance of fostering the Splinterlands and HIVE relationship as well and we've been working to bring the communities closer together. It's only fitting that our DAO starts stacking some HIVE and participating as well!

We've recently joined the @splinterlands curation trail to put this newly powered-up HIVE to work by rewarding the community for engaging on the HIVE blockchain, which offers more incentive for our community to get involved on the base layer. Last week we even created a new SPS DAO community to encourage more of our governance discussions to move on chain!

We're looking forward to fostering a better connection between our communities and helping to educate our users on the benefits of getting involved with HIVE. Currently we're in the process of purchasing another $130,000 worth of HIVE to convert to HBD, which will help show our community the value of staking in the HIVE ecosystem.
