Rapamycin First 24 hours
This is a once weekly medications for me. So far so good
After a coupe of hours of taking it I started to get a little nauseous. This is pretty typical for me -it seems just about everything upsets my stomach. The nausea subsided after lunch.
I am a bit light -headed and feel a little off. It's not good or bad, just off. I am not dizzy but my head feels lighter . I am also feeling lighter in my body in general. Much less of that constant weighed down feeling . It's like when you use ankle weights and then take them off -only it's my entire body.
It's affecting my walking a little. I tripped (no fall just minor mis step) a couple of times because I am used to having to use a lot of force to get my legs /body to move and they feel lighter and there's less resistance (muscle stiffness usually limits my range of motion amongst other things). Most of this mis stepping is right when I get up to walk and put on my slip on shoes. I need to recalibrate how much force I use to move my muscles. Less muscle stiffness in general too.
This does happen to me occasionally so I can't be sure it's the medicine. Cannabis has this effect sometimes as well but that usually wears off fairly quickly.
Woke up this morning a little earlier than I wanted (that's normal for me these days) . We had a stressful day-needed to take in our new rescue guinea pig to the vet for emergency treatment. She is recovering well.
I was in a mini crash from Thanksgiving but seem ok now. Will know more later if a crash from the events of yesterday comes.
............
So far so good. No more nausea. No cold sores. No other side effects. Muscles are still looser. Mornings are usually one of the worst times for me with my muscle pain/tightness. Feeling ok this morning.
