Hello and welcome to another Share your Battle post. This week Splinterlands is focusing on the card "Dhampir Stalker".

I'm not a big fan of the "Death" Splinter because I can't seem to get many wins with it. Yet, somehow, I manage to lose to it all the time.
Anyway, the "Dhampir Stalker" is a ranged attacker that has the "True Strike" special ability at level 1.
This ability means that this card will not miss an attack, always on target. Let's look at my selected Battle, Rulesets and Lineup for this week.

League: Silver
Rulesets: Counter spell & Odd ones out
Mana Cap: 42
Splinters: Death VS Water

My chosen battle is a Silver League battle with a large Mana-Cap of 42. The Rulesets are both "Counterspell" & "Odd ones out". This means every monster in the Battle will have the "Reflect" special ability. This ability reflects damage back to any monster that uses a magic attack. Odd ones out simply removes all of the cards that have an odd number of Mana required.

My strategy for this battle is based on the rulesets. Both "Counterspell" and "Odd ones out" limit what cards could be successfully used in the battle. "Counterspell" would mean it would be unlikely the enemy use magic attackers. Which means the backfield would likely be ranged attacks. This is the reason I selected my Summoner who removes one attack point from ranged attacks. The other frequently used "Death" option is to use the "Sneak" ability. This is the reason I selected "Night Ghoul" as my tank. "Night Ghoul" has the taunt ability which draws all fire to him. This leaves our focus card "Dhampir Stalker" free to fire from the backfield. With a strong ranged attack of 3 and the "True Strike" ability enabling him to never miss a shot he can do a lot of damage. When overlooking my battle, I seen that a few shots were missed. However, because of this card's ability, he got almost every kill in the battle. The Allies on my team would knock the armor and health down and the guaranteed hit from dampier stalker would get the kill. Although I do not frequently use the death splinter I would honestly say that I like this card's statistics. Check out my battle link to see the battle unfold. Thanks for reading my post all support and follows will be returned.
