Rebellion

• The presale is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, October 18th, at 2:00 PM ET / 18:00 UTC in the shop section of the Splinterlands website.
• Vouchers need to be in the in-game wallet for the presale purchases.
• Will start slowly releasing some stats and abilities soon in the mavs channel before the general sale
• Still working out the details of the Rebellion summoners - Likely not all will be dual element
• The Rebellion set is currently scheduled to be released on Tuesday, December 5th, during the regularly scheduled maintenance period. At this point all packs purchased during the presale will be able to be opened, all of the new cards and mechanics will be added to the game, the Untamed set will rotate out of Modern format, and players will be able to claim their rewards from the Rebellion presale.

New DAO proposal

• Idea for the DAO to hire @clayboyn
• Position as project manager and community representative for the DAO
• Liaison between the community and Splinterlands
• He can also work on tournaments and partnerships
• The DAO needs someone to represent in business negotiations
• Someone to handle day to day management
• Working with exchanges in a transparent way
• The DAO will still be decentralized
• There will be a proposal with more details in the next few days

Other Points

• DEC token has started to increase
• Planning on doing another card burning event early next year to eat through the over supply of cards which will help the ecosystem
  • We should not have this type of over supply problem with Rebeillion due to the burn mechanism
• Land is still coming along
  • 1.5 will be released before the end of the year
• Focus is on Rebellion and Land
  • After that we will look out outstanding ideas like:
    • New player experience
    • Boss fights
    • Battles 2.0
• Matt is more conservative and will make sure we have a long runway and will be well positioned for bear markets in the future
• Land 2.0 Whitepaper coming soon
• SPS Validator software still being built
• Plan to do more promo cards and mini sets in the future
  • Collaborations with other Web3 communities for cross promotion
