Warner Music Group Partnership:

• Splinterlands and Warner Music Group are going to work together to build blockchain games
• Team is in the early phases of still working out all the details of this partnership
• Warner was going to build blockchain games with somebody either way
  • Splinterlands team wanted to be that company
• Splinterlands team overarching goal is to always bring value to SPL assets and the community
• This partnership will start a completely separate, independent team to build these games
  • Will not take any existing Splinterlands team members away
  • All current team members are still 100% focused on building Splinterlands
• Potential opportunities with this partnership:
  • Integrate existing SPL assets into the new games
  • Have some artists decide if they want to work on SPL as well
  • Establish a relationship to advertise to their audience
• Can't guarantee that the new games will be built on the Hive blockchain
  • However, Warner liked the ease of use and readability usernames/wallets that Hive offers
  • Splinterlands will be promoting and pushing for Hive

Waka Spiritblade Promo:

• The Waka Spiritblade will be available for sale Thursday, February 24th at 12PM EST
• One of the first steps to get different audiences more interested into Splinterlands and blockchain games
• Narrative team immersed Waka Spiritblade into the Chaos Legion story

Dev Updates:

• Team is organizing resources to make internal teams to focus on specific projects
  • Matt is heading up the SPS Validator team to get it done faster and continue/maintain it
  • There is a Land Expansion team being ramped up as well

Tournaments:

• Tournament restructuring is still in-progress
• Starting new, very low level tournaments to increase the activity of tournaments at the lowest leagues
• Team wants to try to encourage players to compete mainly with other players in their same league

Unbound Nation Guild:

• Started in November, 2021
• Scaled to 1,100 scholars in December
• The guild is looking for community support that wants to help this new guild to get started

YGG:

• Currently have 16 SPL guilds and around 200+ SPL players
• Every Saturday YGG runs a community challenge and lives streams it
• Governance proposal has gone through to open the remaining Untamed packs
  • ~1000 a week potentially
• Currently recruiting competitive players to join their guilds
• Can get in contact via Website or Discord

• Team plans to require vouchers for every promo going forward in some way

Waka Spiritblade Sale:

• Giving Waka the poison ability was to incentivize the demand for players to buy it
• Anytime something is unbalanced, the team will review it and make updates as necessary

TeraBlock Integration:

• Integration to TeraBlock is complete, looking to possibly release next week
• Collaboration was announced earlier this year
• Benefits:
  • TeraBlock bridge is more reputable compared to the SPL makeshift bridge
  • TeraBlock will be handling all the support/bridge issues
  • They have experience working with other chains
    • Will be easier to get DEC & SPS supported across multiple chains
• Current bridge exists between Ethereum and BSC on their website
• Once integration is released, you will be able to send DEC/SPS with these chains and in-game

Fiat-To-Crypto Gateways:

• Team really wants to improve the gateway of getting fiat into the game for crypto
• Transak service was released a couple weeks ago
  • Can purchase large amounts of DEC or SPS with Credit Card or Bank Transfer
  • Available for everyone other than US residents
• Matt would like to add additional services to give players multiple options

SPS:

• Private investor distributions end in April
  • 3 more distributions left
• SPS airdrop ends at the end of July
  • 1.1M tokens are being airdropped every day
• Riftwatchers can only be bought with SPS & Vouchers only
• SPS governance will require SPS to vote on proposals
