Splinterfest:

• Splinterfest tickets go on sale tomorrow!
• Tickets can be bought with SPS or with a credit card on Eventbrite
  • Regular ticket = $300
    • Ticket to enter & reserves the Splinterfest Promo Card
    • Ticket will provide a promo code to receive $300 discount for the Promo Card (cost $1000 total or $700 with promo code)
  • VIP ticket = $2000
    • Ticket to enter & reserves a Gold Foil Splinterfest Promo Card
    • Ticket will provide a promo code to receive $2000 discount for the Gold Foil Promo Card (cost $5000 total or $3000 with promo code)
• Buying with SPS still consists of claiming your ticket on Eventbrite
  • Will need to enter your email to claim and enter some information (like shirt size)
• There will be tournaments hosted at Splinterfest with large prizes (~$10k+ in prizes)
  • You need to be present at Splinterfest to enter the tournament
  • Entry fee will be free
  • Two ghost card tournaments will be hosted
    • One Regular Foil Gold league tournament
    • One Gold Foil Champion tournament
  • Team teased that some Land plots will be up for grabs as prizes as well!
• Team is creating a website specifically for Splinterfest (Splinterfest.com)

SPS Ranked Rewards:

• SPS Ranked Rewards will go live tomorrow!
• SPS will replace DEC rewards from winning Ranked Battles and in reward chests
• SPS rewards will be received as Staked SPS, not liquid SPS
  • You will need to claim the SPS on the SPS Management page (see screenshot below)

Brawls:

• Team is currently working on SPS rewards for Brawls
  • Backend code is complete, remaining focus is on the UI elements
  • SPS Brawl rewards will be given out as Staked SPS, not liquid (like Ranked rewards)
  • There will be a fixed amount of SPS available for each Brawl Tier
    • There will be a total of 2.5M SPS/month
    • This amount will be split out between the five tiers
    • On average, there are about 6 brawl cycles per month
  • Empty tiers will not have any SPS rewarded
    • Currently Tiers 4 & 5 have zero guilds participating in them

SPS Governance Proposals:

• First version of SPS Governance Proposals goes live tomorrow!
  • Only the Splinterland team will be able to make Governance Proposals starting off
  • Anyone that has SPS staked will be able to vote on every proposal
  • The amount of staked SPS you have determines the weight of your vote
  • This allows the community to help make decisions rather than only the Splinterlands company
• Future iterations will allow community members to create proposals as well
• Example proposals:
  • Brawl Fray changes (less Gold foil frays, higher level frays, etc...)
  • More or less rewards for certain tournaments?

SPS Ranked Rewards:

• Leaderboard rewards will be SPS, not DEC
• SPS rewards will be given out in staked SPS
  • This concept was adopted by HIVE
  • SPS Staking is going to be critical in earning rewards so earning staked SPS will be a good start to prepare for that
• SPS rewards will be gauged by how much SPS you have staked in the near-future
  • Before this can be released, the team wants to get SPS Delegations out first

Training Grounds:

• Team has always wanted a Training Grounds that lets players customize Challenges/Practice Mode
• Players could pick specific rule sets and mana caps
• Could probably allow Ghost Card formats as well so new players can practice with cards before knowing what to buy/rent

Jacek - CL Fire Legendary Summoner Airdrop:

• Currently selling around 10k CL packs per day
  • Only around 291k packs left before the Jacek airdrop

Riftwatchers:

• Presale will last until the limited amount of packs are purchased
• Plan seems to be still only 3M total RW packs
• Official information should all be announced in the RW whitepaper
• Aggy thinks at least 20% of the RW packs will require vouchers
• There are multiple new abilities being introduced with the Riftwatchers set
