Splinterlands Tech Team Role Changes

Hello to everyone in the Splinterverse! The Splinterlands team would like to take a moment to let everyone know about some important role changes that have recently been made to the Splinterlands technical team that should really help position us for even more explosive growth in 2022 and beyond.

First, and foremost, @yabapmatt has moved from Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to Chief Product Officer (CPO). This will allow him to focus his time and efforts on his areas of expertise which are game feature and economy design and not have to spend as much time dealing with the day to day technical issues of running our servers and managing our technical resources. Please be assured that @yabapmatt's involvement and commitment to Splinterlands will not be reduced in any way and he will still be doing some development work, particularly on things like the SPS governance and validator node system.

It should come as no surprise to those who have been keeping up with our Town Halls and other communications that @hardpoint has stepped into the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) role in the organization. While he is still relatively new to the organization and to Splinterlands in general, we have never before seen a more hard-working, talented, and passionate individual than him and we are 100% convinced that he is the one that we want leading our technical team going forward.

Finally, @kbux has taken up @hardpoint's previous role of VP of Development. Like @hardpoint, @kbux is relatively new to the organization, but he has shown extreme passion for the game and has been putting in an insane amount of work hours to make sure everything is running smoothly and that new features are being developed.

As we continue to grow over the coming years we expect to have many new team members joining or rising into leadership positions in the organization and we are excited to be able to share those changes and additions to the team with our amazing community who have made all of this possible!
