Dinner With My Constants

Despite the rain and traffic, my friends and I managed to make the most of our time together.

Admit it, in adult friendships, it's difficult to schedule a get-together, and it's not every day that we get to hang out with our friend who's heading back to the US. I'm just grateful that we all made time to be there.

We decided to have dinner at SM Aura since it's near our residence. Yabu had a long queue but the laughter and stories we shared while waiting made it worth it. After all, catching up is the whole point of why we gathered.

We finished dinner around 11 pm but the rain continued to pour. We headed to the nearest Starbucks and we talked about our lives and everything in between.

Reality called when we noticed it was already 2 am. Some of us had work the next day so we had to say our goodbyes.

It might have been a short meet-up but it was filled with warmth and friendship.
