Why do good people suffer while the wicked prosper? .

It seems that good people don't prosper but their progress is according to the will of GOD.
And it may be as though they are not living large but of a truth contentment is all that matters

1 Timothy 6:6-8 (KJV) 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
The wicked may look as if they are more productive or prosperous than the good,,but they spoil or soil their hands

Luke 12:15(KJV) And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

To me i see no reason for people to want to gather all the riches and still loose their own soul
Mark 8:36-37 (KJV) For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
