The air outside is not fire
Your domicile is not a cell
Prison is a state of mind though
And perception will do you well
The air outside is not fire
With weary eyes and tired minds
Unrwapping our present lives
Perception is a very deep well
The air outside is not fire
My soul gratefully admits
Such was untrue in wars passed
Perceived by some the true'st hell
The air outside is not fire
It is not my soul's desire
To decompose in waiting
To pay the toll to ring the bell
The air outside is not fire
My couch is not a bunker
This battle is not a field
Perception is The War I quell
