Open Verse

Another day, another evolution.

Nine months ago things were hour to hour.

Things haven't changed since then.

But our minds don't see the changes.

It's already made sense of them.

At least it's tricked our mind to think so.

Now we see them change day to day.

This suspension of belief is our mastery.

Human beings breed imagination endlessly.

It takes nine months to make a baby.

But longer for a Covid solution.
