Indie's Official Inauguration

Back in January I wrote a post announcing our special inauguration event, "Come Taste the Future of Money" where two Members of the Luxembourg Parliament came to pay their drinks with HBD. The event happened on January 14th and went very well, but I didn't get around to post about it. Until today, one month later.

So here's the story of the event, beginning with our squad who went to the Quintus print shop to retrieve the marketing material

Once everything was in place, I arrived on site to bring the finishing touch, stick some A3 posters around and distribute printed tutorials on tables

There were many people present but of course the highlight of the evening were the two MPs (and Aldermen of the city) paying for their drinks with their phones, with HBD.

They were accompanied by cameramen who filmed and then produced a small movie that was posted on LinkedIn under the banner of their political party.

One month later, @indies.cafe hosts our weekly "Letz'OffChain" informal event and keeps doing business in HBD. We hope that, with soon a second and then more shops and restaurants begin accepting business in BTC and HBD, the amount of peer-to-peer, bankless business will keep growing and provide healthy competition for the good of the many.
