My Sunday was one of it's very kind, a very beautiful and memorable day to remember. On Sunday being the 15th,May 2022 we welcomed our Archbishop in the person of Dr.Valerian Maduka Okeke to our Church Parish,Nkwelle Ogidi On his 2nd pastoral visit for Confirmation,Opening of Grotto of Our Lady immaculate Conception and Opening of our Parish Office.

A happy day indeed in our parish as everywhere started glowing on Saturday with beautiful decorations. Our Altar was also decorated on Saturday and with the help of our senior sister the outcome was superb.

Also the vestment table and credence table were decorated by members.

The D_Day already and different people wearing there customized T_shirt in different colours seated according to their canopies.Zone one wore green, Zone two Yellow,Zone three navy blue and zone four sky blue. Confirmations candidates wore white everywhere was very colourful and beautiful. My families are Zone two members and we rocked our yellow T_shirt.

Our Archbishop came and the holy mass began he celebrated the holy mass with us. He fed us spiritually and we were filled.
Starting his preaching he asked us from the reading what God will do. Answering God will do everything new The answers showed the parishioners were listening while the word of God was being read, he asked us to clap for ourselves which we did happily.
Then further with the commandments of Love by God urging us to Love our neighbour as ourselves and as Christ Loved us.Love for things has its excess except Loving Christ and our Neighbours. Love also begat many other good things.

The Confirmation candidates w
received the Sacrament of confirmation, the armours of Christ increased by over 400 Christians.

My Children The Mary Leagues girls and Altar girls also did well in dancing during the processions,Leading in the prayer of the Faithful,Offertory dance and dancing when the consecration sung was being sung.

The choir performed excellently with there melodious voices.

The mass ended the Grotto was Blessed and opened followed by the parish Office Complex.

We took Nice photos very happy for a great day .

Later on we did great justice to our food and drinks🥰.

Some youths also danced.

It was a day we Longed and prepared for both spiritually and physically and happiness filled our hearts when it went very successful.

Our major welcome words is NNA ANYI UKWU NNOO which means our great Father you are Welcome and with Great joy in our hearts we welcome our Archbishop to our parish.
