Hey!
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about productivity versus environment. For the longest time, I convinced myself I could work from anywhere—the couch, the kitchen table, even slumped over in bed. But my back (and my attention span) finally staged a protest.
So, I decided to intentionally reset my workspace. I wanted to share a glimpse into my current setup and a few things that have completely transformed the way I get things done.

1. Chasing the Natural Light

If there is one thing that instantly boosts my mood, it’s golden hour light streaming across the floor. Placing my desk near a window hasn’t just saved me from eye strain; it actually makes me want to sit down and start working in the morning.

2. The Power of Visual Reminders

I used to keep all my tasks buried in digital apps, but I found myself forgetting them the second I closed the tab. Now, I utilize the wall space right in front of me. Polaroids of good memories, quick sticky notes for daily goals, and a physical calendar keep me grounded and reminded of what matters.

3. Intentional Screen Setup

I’ve embraced a dual-focus method:

  • The Laptop: Strictly for heavy lifting, creation, and deep work.
  • The Phone: Kept on a separate stand or held only when replying to quick messages or checking off a specific habit tracker.
Separating "the work" from "the communication" prevents me from falling down the endless scrolling rabbit hole.

What does your setup look like?

Are you a minimalist with a completely bare desk, or do you thrive in a bit of creative chaos like me? Let me know in the comments!
