Genius Juice – Day 78
These four plants are going through their transformation from leafy plants to flowering now. I control their flowering by changing how long their grow light is on for. And now the lights are on for 12 hours and off for 12 hours. Simulating a late summer making them think their growing season is almost up. They will produce buds and from here get bigger over time until ready for harvest.
This strain is a hybrid, so its pretty bushy but can also get pretty tall. Luckily I left room for it to grow. It can get at least another foot tall before the light is much of an issue. But I think they are fitting perfectly right now in their 5x8 tent.

They are all the same strain, but for whatever reason growing at different spreads. So the canopy is not very even right now.
It is very possible the other three will catch up to that one in the back corner towering over the rest.
Sometimes the stretch just affects one plant more than the other, even if all the conditions are the same between plants.
The smell coming from this tent is getting strong, it even started before flowering them.. those leaves have a dank smell too.
It will still be a few more weeks until we see signs of them changing color, but for now they are green but maybe we will get lucky and get some purples coming in later in the flowering stage. But since it is early flower they do not usually show signs of changing color until the final few weeks of flower.
Raised the LED light twice now, and probably will need to raise it again soon. I need to keep a little over a foot away from the buds.. two feet max. So its a fine game of not too close but not too far.
Even if all four plants are not the same height, its nice to see them all happy and flowering.

Hoping the smallest of the bunch catches up, as its right next to the biggest and I think its being pushed out of the way a little.. lol
Well soon the stretch will stop, and the buds should just get bigger and more mature from here. We are not even half way through yet, maybe 40% of the way through flowering right now. So its gonna be awhile and I am looking forward to all the changes coming up with this grow.
