Thyreus bee is considered a rare bee

Reportedly this species, is one of the rare bees, said to be rare very rarely found, its existence in a plant is very difficult, I myself do not know why this condition is seen in it. To find it sometimes you have to walk to a special location or in a location that has the potential to be thick with trees. Despite having to travel to the wilderness, but not all goals are achieved or find them. Although sometimes occasionally seen also in plants that are in populated areas. Scientists have named a name, Thyreus. Then the experts also identified them as one of the genera of the Old World bees, namely one of the many bees commonly known as colored bees or other people call them cuckoo bees. Meanwhile, there is another understanding that says the Thyreus bee is a Cleptoparasite of another bee species. Meanwhile, in a 9th grade book on biology, an expert said that most of them belong to the genus Amegilla.

According to temporary monitoring, as long as it is in its environment in a dense location with every tree, it has almost the same characteristics as other bees, but here I found it alone not in group form, and it is also not known whether they have colonies and hives like honey bees in general.

Having a different color from other types of bees, is their main characteristic in recognizing it, and the color is very unique, because it is not shared by other common bees. The metallic blue color is very beautiful seen on the bee's body itself, so it can be distinguished from honey bees and several other types of bees, which are often seen in our own environment.

Looking very comfortable in the bright yellow marigolds, this plant is loved not only by this one bee, but also by every other flying insect. Every marigold petal is examined and controlled by him, of course the goal is every nectar that is available in the petals. The unique thing is that when he is on the petal, other species are not visible, they always control each petal freely without anyone disturbing, and so that no other insect species can be seen approaching each petal. However, it is not known whether the other species are afraid or not, while their aggressive attitude still looks like other honey bees.
