I almost killed a man tonight!

Helping Family, I found myself driving home in the rain, about 11PM. Visibility was bad, and there was a lot of water on the road. I was on a five lane road (center turn lane) holding 40 MPH, when I realized someone was standing in the high speed lane, wearing dark clothes and a hoodie, with his hands in his pockets. I thought he was drunk, or high, and I didn't have much time to avoid hitting him. I steered hard left, and cleared him; until he jumped back in front of my car! Then I realized it was an attempted suicide by car. About six months ago, I bought some new tires to replace some that were shot. I accidentally bought some tires that are designed for driving in the rain. They make noise when I drive, and I have considered replacing them again, just for the noise reduction. However, tonight, when this guy tried to kill himself under my car, in the rain; These tires allowed me to go around him, TWICE! Without those noisey tires, I could Not have avoided hitting, and killing this troubled man. I think GOD directed me to buy tires I did not want, just for tonight....

I called 911 for the first time tonight, because someone else might not be so lucky, and he was going to try again. I pray they found him first!
