swimming hole
I have never lived anywhere with fresh water swimming holes and I am so excited about this one.
Found it by total accident. It's located on a rural private road among residential homes and vineyards. I am not sure of the name of the creek but I'm pretty sure it flows into the russian river a few miles down the road. A single lane bridge, built in the 40's, is the only way these residents can cross. The water is about 15 feet down from the bottom of the bridge with two visible very deep spots for jumping. So now with my bathing suit crammed in my camera bag I can officially be ready for summer!
Pretty cool bridge too.
