1947 bridge - one at a time
Single lane bridges in wine country.
The locals here are very patient, not too many tourists go this far off the beaten path with their RV's and trailers. Everyone wanted to wait for me to shoot but mostly I needed them out of the way. We exchange waves, then smiles, and lastly more waves and bigger smiles as they slowly drive by. I bet it was exactly the same in 1947.
