AFRI-TUNES WEEK #35/ HOW ARE YOU(MY FRIEND) BY JOHNNY DRILLE/ COVERED BY SLEEMFIT✨

Hello Afri-tunes community, it's week 35 of our weekly contest and as always I'm super excited to share my entry. I trust y'all are doing good. For this week I'd be performing "How are you (my friend)" by Nigerian singer-songwriter "Johnny Drille" the secular song as suggested in the community for week #35.

How are you my friend is a motivating song with a lot of reassurance and goodwill to the ones we call friends. Even though we don't speak as often, I got you...call me whenever you need me, I'd be There. I'd always wish you well even though we don't get to see or I don't call, I've got your best interest at heart. If I had the world, I'd keep your share for you cause I can't see you suffer or be in lack. Everything is gon be alright....I see your struggles, I pray God helps you and blesses you

We all get busy dealing with life's struggles and troubles that most times we forget those who really matter (our friends). This song is an assurance to friends that they would continue to have special spaces in your heart and you always wish them well no matter the trials and storms of life. How are y'all doing friends?😊....I do hope you enjoy🎧 my cover of this lovely song. Have an awesome week ahead🤍.

LYRICS

I know sometimes e be like say nobody send you
That one na lie, I dey for you, my friend

Padi no vex for me
Say I never call you since
But I hope that you are well
I hope your market sell
Every day, I dey pray for you
I know sometimes e be like say nobody send you

Make Baba God bless you
I never forget you
How I go forget you?

See my shoulder, make you rest upon me
You know I got you, na me be your friend indeed
The money don show now, I don keep some for you
You no go suffer rara
′Cause anything I get na for me and you, yeah

How are you, my friend?
How do you do, my friend?
I know sometimes e be like say nobody send you
That one na lie, I dey for you my friend
How are you, my friend?
How do you do, my friend?
I know sometimes e be like say nobody send you
That one na lie, I dey for you my friend

No worry yourself o
Everything go dey alright

You no go suffer, rara
′Cause anything I get na for me and you, yeah

How are you, my friend? (I see you, my brother)
How do you do, my friend? (I see you, my sister)
I know sometimes e be like say nobody send you
That one na lie, I dey for you my friend (my friend, it′s been so long)
How are you, my friend? (It's been so long)
How do you do, my friend?
I know sometimes e be like say nobody send you
That one na lie (no be lie o), I dey for you my friend
I know sometimes e be like say nobody send you
That one na lie, I dey for you my friend
