AFRI-TUNES WEEK #36/ OGHENE DOH BY FRANK EDWARDS/ COVERED BY SLEEMFIT✨. ENG-ESP

Hello Afri-tunes community, it's week 36 of our weekly contest and as always I'm super excited 🤭 to share my entry. I trust we doing good🙂. For this week's entry, I have chosen the gospel song as suggested in the community for week #36...."Oghene Doh" by Frank Edwards.

Oghene Doh means Thank you God in English. The song is a song of thanksgiving to the one and only true God "JESUS CHRIST". A song of gratitude and recognition thanking God for how far he has brought you, fighting your battles, answering your prayers and protecting you from the troubles of this life.

Most times we are so consumed with our worries and forget to thank God for the things he has done...but so quick to complain for the ones not yet done.
Sometimes we treat God like a hobby...we only go to him when we need something or when in distress. The moment we get answers to prayers, we tend to forget him when things are going all rosy.

Now imagine being treated like that personally as a human....not nice at all and we won't be comfortable with that kind of relationship. God has feelings too, He wants to commune with you. Thank Him for the things he has done first before bombarding Him with the things He hasn't done yet. In doing so He would surely answer your prayers, thank Him first, He deserves it... He's everything so don't treat Him like a hobby.

"The Lord enjoys people who worship Him
and trust in His love" Psalms 147:11.

I do hope you all enjoy my cover of this song and hopefully you all can join me in thanking God. Happy Sunday everyone 😉.
