Christmas decorations are up!

Yes, I am one of those people that puts my Christmas decorations up early... and I love it!

This past Saturday I bought Lindt peppermint cookie truffles, put on this Youtube Instrumental Christmas music and and put up my Christmas decorations.

I have been collecting ornaments for 20 years! I have them from all over the United States and the world. Some years like 2022 I collected 7 ornaments and some years like 2008 I collected none. The rest of the years, have least one ornament. Some places like New York City I have multiple ornaments! There is the MET, Empire State Building and St. John's Cathedral all from New York City.

This year I hung them on lights that go around my room. It is so fun to see the ornament and remember the trip when I got it. There are some homemade ornaments too and those that friends bought me.

These are very special ones.

I sent this to my parents when I was living in Idaho in 1994	I got this beautiful angel on the Masai Mara in Kenya, Africa	I made this tree this summer during my stained glass class

In addition to the ornaments I have some Santas (my mom collected them and I inherited them) and nativities (that I have collected from all over the world too).

What a wonderful time of year when we get to decorate our space, turn on lights, eat peppermint bark, listen to great music and remember Christ and his gift to us.
