Code question for Hive

I came across the Human Calendar, and I thought the API could be fun to be embed able on Hive.. it will be cool.

The above code would generate a dynamic image for the date... example shown below

It would be cool to be able to add such a calendar to a post....

Or perhaps Hive itself can include a markup that can generate nice date into a post (that doesn't cost storage space like including an image in the post)

. Even a simple generated icon like the one below would be cool.
