For most of us it is! If you are buying coffee every morning, lunch three times a week, and snacks here and there... you could be spending hundreds of dollars every month!
$7.00 for coffee + $20.00 for lunch + $3.00 for a candy bar = $30.00 x 20 working days = $600.00/month

Watch those bank fees!

ATMs are still a practical means to handle routine banking transactions and obtain cash. But it's not always free to use an ATM. This is particularly true if you are taking out cash from a machine that is not part of the network of your bank or credit union. ATM fees can pile up rapidly. Withdrawals from machines that are not part of the network of your bank charges ATM fees averaging $4.77 per transaction.

Be aware of interest charges on credit cards.

Interest is not assessed by credit card companies once a year. Rather, they use your APR to compute a daily rate, which they then apply to your average daily balance. Interest is calculated daily by credit card companies and is based on the average daily balance for the billing cycle, which can last up to a month, as shown on your statement. There may still be unpaid interest charges from earlier days lingering in the background, even if you paid off your whole total.

Despite the growing popularity of cashless payment methods, there are still situations in which using cash is required or desired.

It pays to be organized.

Imagine how much all those lost keys, jewelry, chargers, remotes, and so on cost you in the long run. It can be quite expensive.

And not taking care of your health and not being on top of your hygiene

can cost you thousands of later on when you have to visit the doctor for something serious or the dentist.
