Lesson Learned: To Improvise, Learn Wide

Part 2.

As an entrepreneur and a businessman, there is a need to learn wide and be knowledgeable. But the power to improvise is more of a durable trait than any that is obtainable.

We humans plan but when such are put to work we should remember the laws of thermodynamics that nothing is 100% efficient. Yes plans can change drastically.

When plans change, it's up to the boss not to panic, rather, effortlessly mop up any spills that has occured. Initially you must have a plan and two back-up plans, but even at that, things might still go down South. When they do, the boss shows up and fix things.

This was the scenario that played out at the Inaugural Cryptosilv Business Summit. The blueprint plan was to have three speakers as resource persons but the third speaker was unavoidably absent. So the first speaker had to deploy his power to improvise.

From the way he made the session interactive, you would think we planned for it and impressively, no lacuna was felt. Yes, successful speaker as well as great orators plan a speech before the crowd. But nothing beats good old improvisation.

What if the crowd asks a question you didn't expect or you have vague knowledge about? ____what to do, you improvise and take charge like a pro.
But of course that underscores the need to learn wide.
