Paragliding at Stord
At Stord there is an active group of people flying paragliders. It is quite common to start the adventure at Fossabrekko. When one has reached the height, south-southeast of the Stovegolvet, a well-known mountain peak in the area, there is a particularly well-suited place to start the flight with the paraglider.
On this picture, you can see the magnificent view of the Sunnhordlands area from the paraglider
As soon as a person finds a thermal wind, one begins to fly in circles or in a spiral to win the height. When the conditions are good one can reach high and enjoy the view and freedom up there between the clouds.
