Miss Victory pin-up

Uh-oh. Haven't started on the Java Jaguar strip that is supposed to be published today. Good thing I'm not a syndicated cartoonist or my editor would have my head.

I'll work on Java after breakfast, and publish it when I finish. In the meantime, here is a pin-up poster of Miss Victory, superheroine AND reality TV star.

This actually was refreshing. It's been months since I've drawn Miss Victory in her super suit. The current chapter she's just wearing that blue sundress on Mystery Island. And the previous two-part chapter she was just wearing a swimsuit when the cast was ambushed at the mansion.

Again, trying out some new techniques. Just using pencils for the line art instead of a pen for a more sketchy appearance. Also reduced the color saturation a bit so she doesn't look as bright and shiny, more like how she would look if she were in a print comic.

Then just manga-fied the background in a complementary color (s the opposite of red and blue? yellow...ish)
