Clouds That Wanted to Be Friends

I saw the prompt cloud characters in the Draw A Day community today and it made me smile. So I doodled these fluffy shapes and let them turn into little characters on their own.
While drawing, I was just imagining clouds that like to float around together, bump into each other, and look a bit silly. Some of them look shy, some look excited, and one looks like it’s still figuring out where to go. I think that’s okay. Clouds don’t really need a plan.

I kept the lines soft because I wanted them to feel light, like they could disappear anytime and they change shape always every second. Drawing this felt easy, fun and calm, like letting my hand lead my imagination. One of the most obvious character is an animal that looks like a horse the rest are just amorphous beings with different facial expressions.

This is my entry for SketchQuest drawing contest of @quatro . I just followed a prompt that felt fun and gentle today.
