Splinterlands - Guild Brawl Battle Report - April 5, 2022
Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well! I am back again with another @Splinterlands Guild Brawl Battle Report and Gameplay! I would like to share with you my battle summary and video gameplay in this post. Rawr! 👻

For this week's brawl, I have chosen to fill the Regular Bronze Fray. I got 15 points with 5 wins and 1 loss result and have been rewarded with 1,477 Merits. Each battle requires too much brainstorming since every win is very important in brawls! 😅 Good game and well played to my opponents and to my guildmates!
Battle Summary and Analysis
Brawl Battle #1

Result: Win
Pre-battle analysis
For this battle, I have chosen Byzantine Kitty as my summoner because I want to take advantage of the ruleset which has explosive weaponry and lost magic. Providing my monsters with plus two speed is a good advantage for me since I will likely deal damage first than my opponent and I will never miss my attacks too. I used Djinn Chwala as my main tank because of it has thorns, high armor and decent health. Harklaw as my secondary tank is also really good because of its shield ability that could lessen some damage taken from blast.

My opponent's Sandworm missed its attack here. If its attack was successful, my two range monsters should've died. Also, Brighton Bloom have been countered by my Kitty because of true strike ability making my opponent's monsters to have no chance of evading my attacks.
Final Round
All my monsters were still alive.
Lesson Learned
I was really in the advantage here. However, if I could rearrange my positioning for this battle, I will place my Uraeus at the last position for its armor or place other monsters that have armor as well but still could attack from its position.
Brawl Battle #2
Me VS CRYPTOMANSAM of The Wizards - Battle Link
Result: Loss
Pre-battle analysis
For this battle, I have chosen Plado Emberstorm as my summoner. With the available splinter and ruleset, I think this is a decent choice because of its abilities. My goal is to use low mana melee monsters and to amplify their stats.

I thought I had this battle until my two monsters missed their attack on my enemy's serpentine spy.
Final Round
It was very unfortunate. My opponent's gladius card massacred my team here.
Lesson Learned
I should have rented furious chicken or scorch fiend just to add another meat shield in the last position and use higher speed monsters. Also, hoping that luck will be on my side that my attacks won't miss. 🤣
Brawl Battle #3
Me VS RBAETZ of Casual Playing - Battle Link
Result: Win
Pre-battle analysis
For this battle, I have chosen Lir Deepswimmer as my summoner because of the abilities and value that he provides for my team. The additional two armor, return fire and blind will surely help me with these rulesets. Given that there is lost magic and target practice, my opponent will likely use range attackers. It is also a 52-mana battle, I was able to use high mana monsters for this which can all attack and a tank with high armor as well. I placed my Gargoya Devil which has a flying ability as a primary target for his ranged attackers because of the evasion chance.

Lesson Learned
I think there is nothing else I would change for this match. If he opted to use Yodin with mostly range attackers, I think I would still have a decent chance to win. I also never want to use more range attackers here because I thought he will also use Lir.

Me VS SODAMNHAPPY of Team Possible Phalanx - Battle Link
Result: Win
Pre-battle analysis
For this battle, I have chosen Lorna Shine as my summoner because of its Divine Shield ability. I think that this ability will help my main attacker, Captain Katie, to survive longer while dealing damage to my enemies. Even with weak magic and melee mayhem ruleset, I believe that Captain Katie is decent here because of how low the mana cap for this battle and there are not much available cards that could contest in life splinter with this mana cap.

Lesson Learned
I think I could also use Tyrus here with Captain Katie and Scavo Hireling as my main cards. Then, add Furious Chicken and Soul Fiend as additional meatshields. I could try that next time if I encounter the same ruleset and mana cap.
Brawl Battle #5
Me VS WLEGEND of Dynamic Crypto Gaming - Battle Link
Result: Win
Pre-battle analysis
For this battle, I have chosen Prince Rennyn as my summoner for the stats it provides. I would like to take advantage on the close range ruleset and used a lot of range attackers with decent speed. I used Unicorn Mustang as my tank because of its high HP and just in case if my opponent will use magic attackers, it could survive a bit longer.

Lesson Learned
I will definitely rearrange the positioning of my monsters here. I will put my Gem Meteor at the last position for its relatively enough hp and speed to tank sneak attackers and to protect my two low HP monsters. I will also put my Venari Seedsmith at the second position to serve as my secondary tank due to its scavenger ability. However, it will also be vulnerable to snipe attack and would actually die immediately because of its low HP at the beginning of the battle.

Guild Performance - Metacult
All frays were filled for this week's brawl but there are still some of us who didn't or couldn't submit their battles. The images below shows our guild's individual and overall brawl performances. We could have won the brawl if all battles were submitted. Anyway, we can bounce back next time and hoping we could win first place again. Second place isn't bad either! 😁
