Dancing With Ra ☀
Ra the sun god can also
stand for Right ascension
a celestial coordinate term.
In this top photo is a little nub
poked up on the right. That
is Augustine volcano as
seen from 110 miles away!
Photos taken with a
Nikon D7500
Around 4:40 PM and
about 15° deg F. there was
a bit of a inversion layer.
These sunset photos were taken
a few nights ago out by where the
Kenai river meets the
Cook inlet in Alaska.
Low tide, a bird in
the distance, the edge of
Iliamna volcano just starting
to appear on the right.
Some negative and
grey shades.
All of my photographs are
taken hand held. I've been
thinking of getting one of
them spider looking tripods,
the kind that the legs bend
in all directions lol
Majority are also right off
the camera, no fuss no muss
unless otherwise noted.
Like this sunset, it's
only resized due to our
internet limits, the mega
sizes are out of the question.
These photos are
much larger when clicked
to see the fuller views.
