Generating revenue with ad-free content

Certain advertizing networks have gone too far. Using increasingly intrusive advertising formats and data trackers, they are spoiling the experience of millions of web-surfers. The increasing use of ad-blockers is a clear signal: the audience has had enough!

I believe that Steemit has great potential to deliver the solution to the current adblocker-dilemma as it enables content creators to monetize their product without the need to place ads. I'm excited to see how the big advertizing networks will react as steemit gains more and more traction. Especially when advertizers start discovering steemit as platform for themselves to reach out to their customers with quality content. If steemit really starts to fly ad networks may get cancelled out from the equation of content monetization.
