China is building its own SSI.
The Chinese government plans on launching a Social Credit System (SCS) by 2020.
To do what?
To assess the trustworthiness of its citizens.
Here are some of the categories they'll measure:
- Credit history
- Fulfillment capacity
- Personal characteristics
- Behavior and preference
- Interpersonal relationships
Citizens with a high score will get rewards and special privileges, while low-scoring citizens...
Well, we're not sure yet.

evaluate citizens?
Will this encourage better behavior for each citizen or is this simply a way to control the masses?
