Memories and a broken future

I remember this very moment from 2023.
Everything was completely different. It was the end of summer, warm, sunny. There were still some hopes for at least some future. There were at least some plans. Yes, there was uncertainty... but it was also not as complicated as it is now.
Back then, could just sit in the car and enjoy a cup of tea without unnecessary thoughts.
Now the load of thoughts does not let out of captivity.
