What Is the Difference Between Depression and Anxiety?
Hi guys, today I want to tell you about the difference between depression and anxiety. I often see people talking about it. Some people say they get negative thoughts, their mood stays upset, and they feel like crying. Some people also say they feel nervous, their body shakes, and their heartbeat becomes fast. People do not know what the real reason is, whether it is depression or anxiety. They also do not know the symptoms properly, and because of that, they do not get the right treatment. Remember, depression is a different illness, and anxiety is a different illness. Their treatments are also different. If the treatment is wrong, the patient will never get better. What is depression, and what is anxiety? Today I will teach you about it. Stay with me.
depression symptoms
The person who has depression, the first symptom is that their mood stays down. Along with that, if it continues for more than two weeks, they also get negative thoughts. Their sleep can become disturbed, and along with that, their memory can become weak. Their energy can also become very weak.
anxity symptoms
In anxiety, a person feels nervous. The person thinks that something will happen to them or that something is happening to them. Their heartbeat becomes fast. Their breathing becomes fast. They need to pee and poop again and again. In anxiety, a person stays alert all the time.
Anxiety and depression also have symptoms that are the same. In anxiety, when a person keeps feeling nervous again and again, they also feel tired. Sleep issues happen in both depression and anxiety. Irritability also happens in both. Besides that, loss of appetite can also happen. Those patients feel very little hunger. Both can happen at the same time. A person who has depression can also have mild anxiety, and a person who has anxiety can also have mild depression.
That is why you should not go to different doctors. Go to a good psychiatrist. Otherwise, a general doctor can give medicine, but they will not know whether the patient has depression or anxiety.
I hope you all understood my explanation. If you want to learn about health every day, please support me. Thanks for watching.
