Steem Community is not ready for microblogging creators

I have said this before and I am here to talk about it again.

Steem whales don't look with good eyes on microblogging creators.

And since the big majority of users in here still have a small amount of Steem power it is difficult to keep self sustained and support this type of content.

But it is an hypocrite opinion. Because you see many of the whales that have bigger amounts of steem power uploading microblogging posts and self sustaining themselves. But then they will judge and not support others.

We see already many dapps on our community coming and going because they suffer with the lack of support and use.

We had @zappl (that apparently it is planning to come back), we had @steepshot (that is dead as well), we even have @appics that have planned big time to be part of the community (probably will leave the Steem blockchain).

Many users here for sure prefer microblogging but are "forced" to create long format type of blog posts to get attention and keep themselves relevant.

Nothing against long format blogs, it is just not the type of content I usually consume. And even if now and then I do enjoy creating them. It is not what I lean as a first option for my content that is more photography and video inclined.

Do You think that our community would benefit of having more microblogging dapps?

Do You think whales should be more supportive of that type of content?

Just in case You are wondering. For the GREAT MAJORITY microblogging is not as easy as it looks.

Coming up with new and original content on the daily. Updated. New. Different. Entertaining. Educative. Funny.

IT IS DIFFICULT AND REQUIRE A LOT OF WORK.

But this is just my opinion.
