The Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution is an off-road competition car based on the Mitsubishi Pajero. It was specially designed to take part in the rally raids with the main objective of winning the Dakar Rally.

The Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution was released in 1997 and sold until 1999, only 2,500 road-going versions were made for homologation purposes. Some claim the number is slightly higher at 2,693.
