Happy 3rd Year Hive PH!
Hey hey hey! It's Hive PH Birthday! 😅 At least nag rhyme! If you're on Hive Platform and you're Filipino and new, did you know there is a community group for us? Yep, you got that right! It has been around for 3 years now helping Filipino peeps here to thrive!
All about Hive Ph
So it was last year when I first join the community after two years of being on Hive. Initially, I was just playing Splinterlands and had little to zero ideas about the blogging part of the blockchain, so I had no means of engaging with any Filipino on the Hive. Well, coming from the mainstream social media platforms, encountering any Filipino only means one thing and that is the Filipino Toxic Mentality (and I am sure you're familiar with that too).
But, chicken butt, after quite some time, As I was reading through guides on how to maximize earnings from Splinterlands, I landed Peakd. Apparently blogging is one way of earning, but I never really understand it well and how it works, so I was doing it for years on my own, and I got to say.

Until one day as I was browsing the Peakd Feeds, I saw a nicely done monochrome photo post by @juanvegetarian. from amazement of his post, I led myself to @hiveph community group to Hive Ph discord channel. Like any part of my life's journey Learning is one of the things I never neglect for myself even if it meant eating my own words (Not gonna interact nor engage with any Filipino). What really stand out when I was browsing the community page was the tagline.
"Supporting Filipinos worldwide"
Reading those lines made me think that this group might be progressive people. Those lines really made me decide to join the community. Apparently, I joined at the time of a post-apocalyptic feud 🤣 (hearsay). I'm not really sure so I don't know, and I wouldn't care. I'm all about moving forward.
I've met awesome people throughout my first year, and I'm enjoying the Friday night game nights, I was able to be a host to one of the games myself! I love the conversations with people within the community, the heartaches, the chismis of death, the laughter, the #love-radio, all in all, I was in a good place with good people.
I consider my friends as my family -mebu
Community Support
Being part of this community, by the tagline, as they've helped me with my blogging journey, and encouragement of the things I wanted to do through webinars and guidance, I wanted to do my part of helping the community and members within to reach their hive goals, or even in their own lives, as much as I want to progress myself, I want the people around me to progress too. So if you catch me online and needed something don't hesitate, if I can, I would gladly help you out with any. 😀
It's safe to say that I'll be around as much as the people I got close to be around. Whatever I can provide, as long as I can, I'll give back to others. Lately, the community has been quiet unlike how it was before, people might be intimidated by others or don't like others. But it is, what it is, I hope Hive Ph would grow more and culture more Filipinos to be part of Hive blockchain.
