Cute little cluster of young Golden Oysters...!!!! Yeah it's decided, I'm keeping those for myself. But the rest, the other 8 pounds of mushrooms I harvested today are going to be given away. We're sharing the wealth here!

I guess I can dry a few pounds, I still have about 2 lbs in the fridge and another 16 lbs in the root cellar! So those of you who know where Artemisian Sanctuary is, come get you some mushrooms 😁.

So that was what we tried to do... I was able to give away quite a lot but not enough people came, I got crazy busy again, and I went back to work. So in the end we lost a good 10 lbs of these lovely mushrooms from the first hunt to mold. It makes me realize that we really need to make a drying area specifically for mushrooms.

Go out there and get to know your wilds... It's a great adventure, just be careful a bit!
