Dark times

I never imagined having to use a VPN to access a blocked social network, and today it happened in Brazil with X (Twitter). a dictatorship made up of the government and members of the Federal Supreme Court, with the excuse of defending “democracy” ordered the social network to be blocked, because it simply refuses to block profiles of journalists critical of ministers and politicians opposed to the government. And this all happens without due legal process, without crime. It is difficult to believe that we are in this situation and the expectation is that repression will increase. If you believe that your country is protected from this happening, I'm sorry to tell you that no, authoritarianism is increasing in the world, everyone with the same speech of defending “democracy”, but those who don't want democracy are those. Be careful who you vote for in your country's elections.
