Nature's Bounty: Ginger Harvest for today

Hello to my dear Hive friends. What a wonderful day it is today, I have the time now to write and blog again. A lot has happened, and a lot to share about. But don't worry, I'll make it up to everyone.

To my dear garden lovers, how are you today? How was your garden? Anything good you plant today? For today, I will be sharing with everyone my garden update. I'm so excited to share the good news about my ginger garden.

Today is a holiday in our place, and because it's a holiday, nothing to worry about the time to go to work, but instead I am making time for another wonderful yield.

After making my short rounds of walking outside our house, I saw my ginger garden, and some of its mother plants didn't have any leaves at all. I'm worried if somebody was digging it first or what. So, I checked on its sacks nearby.

Luckily, it wasn't, and I am glad that the ginger I planted last August 2024 produced some yields already. My mother, who was with me, asked me to harvest it already before it is taken by passers-by.

Without a second thought, I prepare my small bolo and sacks for the harvested ginger. Together with my mom, we slowly dug each sack to gather all the ginger.

As you can see, it was intentionally placed on sacks because this place is shady and during rainy days, the water near this area is full, so we needed to make ways not to damage the planted ginger.

After realizing that the ginger is at a high price last 2024, I thought of planting the vacant space in our area. I decided to plant ginger because the area is shady, and ginger is not too hard to take care of. You just place it on sacks, put some manure and cultivate its soil, you're good to go.

After a couple of hours digging in each sack, we were very happy to see the outcome. We were not expecting this much as an outcome. We yield 3 kilos for our harvest today, and it's a good thing already.

When you plant something good today, for sure you will surely harvest better tomorrow. Taking good care of your ginger plants, cultivating the soil and slightly watering it but not too much, will surely give you a wonderful outcome.
