Di alam semesta ini
Perasaanku beku
Menyatu dengan kegelapan.
Hutan ini benar-benar dingin,
membungkus tubuh yang gelisah
dan mata hati yang mengacaukan
setiap langkah.
Kubuka tanganku ke langit,
Kurindukan sinar itu.
Namun mata merah kelelawar
bertabrakan dengan mataku.
Saya melihat ke sini,
menjadi lebih kecil dan terpencil
di antara mega-mega kehidupan.
Nurani!
Nurani!
Kucari pancaran sinar matamu
mendaki jalan gelap dan licin ini.
"Akankah cahaya itu terlihat
di ujung gelap dari kehidupan ini?"
Sungguh kurindukan sinar itu,
untuk menerangi jiwaku yang gelap dan sepi.
