Notes about Notes 5
(1986) One Bhutanese Ngultrum
I actually learnt about Bhutan’s currency known as the Ngultrum from a TATA competition. Very interesting name that I will remember. It holds the forex code of BTN and I believe it is pegged currently to the INR at parity. It comprises of 100 Chetrums.
Super cool design on this note as well, if anyone knows the story behind it.
I am not 100% sure if this is a 1986 production.
