Atlanta was definitely exciting
Atlanta Speedway was set to be an exciting race since it was a new track and qualifying was rained out. As the race went on I saw my favorites slowly be taken out of the race from blown tires or just hard racing. I believe there were more then 45 leaders of this race.
This is the wreck that took out two of my favorites #8 Tyler Reddick and #5 Kyle Larson. The accident occurred as Tyler Reddick was leading the race and had a right rear tire blow out on him. Three times during this race a Chevy was leading and had a right rear tire blow out.
The winner of the race was William Byron who did lead the most laps during the race. The final lap of this race had cars crashing around the entire length of the speedway, which was just a result of everyone trying to better their finishing position. Shortly after William Byron crossed the finish line there was a large crash as other cars crossed the finish line.
So for now the unofficial finishing order for the top ten are:
Finish Car No. Name
- 24 William Byron
- 1 Ross Chastain
- 45 Kurt Busch
- 99 Daniel Suarez
- 7 Corey LaJoie
- 9 Chase Elliott
- 17 Chris Buescher
- 19 Martin Truex Jr.
- 22 Joey Logano
- 48 Alex Bowman
- 31 Justin Haley
- 6 Brad Keselowski
- 23 Bubba Wallace
- 43 Erik Jones
- 14 Chase Briscoe
- 77 Josh Bilicki
- 12 Ryan Blaney
- 15 David Ragan
- 78 BJ McLeod
- 44 Greg Biffle
- 4 Kevin Harvick
- 10 Aric Almirola
- 20 Christopher Bell
- 34 Michael McDowell
- 21 Harrison Burton
- 51 Cody Ware
- 38 Todd Gilliland
- 8 Tyler Reddick

I hope those of you who watched the race enjoyed it as much as I did. Hopefully your drivers had better luck then mine did.
