A Big Snow - So Nice to See

This morning after two days of -20c or lower we finally got our first show. It ended up being about 25-30 cm, just enough to make it rather difficult for getting out of your drive.

And because there is something that can not wait for the clearing to happen. This is the escape from the drive. Nice to have an all wheel drive in these conditions.

Just a few hours before this the corn stubble could not be seen, the snow was coming down so thick.

Then an hour and a half of running the shovel we have a cleared off drive.

Though there are lots of places my favorite shovel will not fit, so I have to use a hand shovel.

Something about a big snow fall that I love. It makes everything look clean and white. It also reduces the noise level and makes it quite in this ever noisy world. At least it is quiet until the wind kicks up, which is has, and now its drifting time !!! So fun to see what the morning will bring for magic drifting snow.
